About PayList

PayList is subscription billing and payment reminder software for small businesses. You record who your customers are and what they pay you, and it takes over from there: it works out when each payment is due, emails the customer before and after the date, and gives them a private page showing exactly what they owe and how to pay it.

You get one screen showing everything that is due, everything overdue, and what is coming in this month. When a customer says they have paid, it lands in front of you to confirm — or, if you have marked them as trusted, it is accepted automatically.

Businesses that bill the same customers every month usually track it in a spreadsheet and chase people by hand. That works until it does not. Payments get missed because nobody noticed, or because sending the third awkward reminder was easier to put off than to do.

The reminders are the whole point. Sending them consistently is what gets people to pay, and it is exactly the part a person is worst at doing week after week. So we automated that part and left the judgement calls to you.

PayList is not a payment processor and never touches your money. Your customers pay you directly, by whatever means you already use — bank transfer, GCash, a QR code, cash, PayPal. We show them your details and record what happened. The money goes from them to you and never passes through us.

That also means we cannot take a payment on your behalf, cannot hold funds, and cannot reverse one. If a payment goes wrong, it is between you and your customer, and we are only holding the record of it.

Anyone with a handful to a few hundred customers paying on a repeating schedule: preschools and tutoring centres collecting monthly fees, gyms and studios on memberships, agencies on retainers, landlords, service businesses with maintenance plans.

Your customer list is yours. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anybody, and we do not use it to advertise to your customers. You can export the lot to CSV or Excel at any time, and nothing is deleted if you stop paying — a cancelled account drops to the Free plan with all its records intact and readable.
