Terms of Service

These are the terms on which PAYLIST SOFTWARE PUBLISHING ("we") provides PayList ("the service") to you. By creating an account you agree to them.

What the service is

PayList is software for tracking recurring payments and reminding your customers to make them. It records what each of your customers owes and when, sends them reminder emails, and gives each of them a private page showing the amount and how to pay you.

PayList is not a payment processor and never holds, moves or touches your money. Your customers pay you directly, by whatever means you already use — bank transfer, GCash, cash or anything else. We record that a payment happened; we do not carry it. Any dispute about money between you and your customer is between you and your customer.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite to it. Keep your password to yourself, and remove people who should no longer have access.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us must be true.

Plans and payment

  • FreeFree forever. Up to 5 customers.
  • Starter₱499 per month. Unlimited customers.
  • Pro₱999 per month. Unlimited customers, up to 10 people.
  • Business₱1,999 per month. Unlimited customers, unlimited people.

All prices are in Philippine pesos (PHP) and are charged monthly in advance. There is no free trial of the paid plans: the Free plan does not expire, so you can stay on it for as long as you like and move up when it stops being enough.

We may change our prices. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Continuing to use a paid plan after that means you accept the new price.

Cancelling, and what happens to your records

You can stop paying at any time and your account moves to the Free plan at the end of the period you have already paid for.

Nothing you have recorded is deleted when you downgrade. Every customer, payment and record stays exactly as it is and stays readable. You simply cannot add customers beyond the Free plan limit until you move back up. You can export everything to CSV at any time, on any plan.

If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for tax or accounting purposes.

Sending email on your behalf

On the Free plan, reminders are sent from our address with your business name shown as the sender and replies going to you. On the paid plans you may connect your own Google account or mailbox, and reminders are then sent from your own address.

You are responsible for the messages sent to your customers through the service, and for having a reason to contact them. Do not use PayList to send anything unsolicited. We may suspend an account that does.

What we do not promise

We work to keep the service running and reminders going out, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. Email delivery in particular depends on providers we do not control.

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

In particular, a reminder failing to arrive does not make us responsible for a payment you did not collect. Reminders are a help, not a guarantee.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or is being used to harm somebody. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction over any dispute.
